ROGERS — Residents will have a possibility to bicycle with military officers this summer as partial of a “Pedal with a Police” overdo program.

The department’s bike unit will horde a village bike-along any weekend along opposite sections of a new Northwest Arkansas Razorback Regional Greenway and other bike trails, according to a Police Department news release. This is a initial year for a program, pronounced Keith Foster, dialect spokesman.
The initial float starts during 8 a.m. on Jul 6.
The bike-along offers residents an event to pronounce with military about village issues. The module is meant to inspire village impasse with law enforcement.
The bike unit will horde dual rides any weekend. A float of about 12 miles on Saturdays will start during a Rogers High School route head. A Sunday float of about 7 miles will start during Cambridge Park route head. Both rides start during 8 a.m.
All participants are speedy to wear helmets. Anyone younger than 18 contingency be accompanied by an adult.
