Riverside military to offer ‘virtual ride-along’ on Twitter

RIVERSIDE — Township military officers are formulation to use amicable media to give residents a glance into their daily activities during a “virtual ride-along” on Friday.


Officers will twitter around Twitter all day during their patrols and send photos and videos of some of their activities. They also devise to use a eventuality to prominence “teachable moments” associated to driving, walking reserve and crime prevention, military pronounced Wednesday.

Officers wish a ride-along will pull courtesy to a department’s Twitter account, @riversidepdnj, that will be used to make village notifications as good as announce events, hazards and military activity.
